Cross country at Kings Park!!

muddy-running-shoes

On Thursday the 16th of January 2014 we had a cross country race. Unfortunately we didn’t win but we all tried are hardest. It was fun but very hard work as it was a year 6 and 7 race. It was so boggy and muddy that it was like running through a swamp. For the boys it was 2.8 kilometres but for the girls it was 2.5 kilometres! We all got very muddy and we all enjoyed it. Fortunately I didn’t fall over but lots of people did. Somehow Oliver M came 51st leaving the rest of us behind. I loved it and can’t wait for the next one.

Cross country at kings park!

On Thursday the 16th of January 2014 the St Mary cross country team went to Kings Parks. We did the muddiest the hardest cross country race in the world! The race we did was combined in year 7 & 6. The race was 2.8km for the boys and the girls did 2.5km! at the start of the race everyone was pushing to the front we all wanted to win! The race started and Oliver Martin zoomed off leaving Oliver C, Sean, Karl and Tommy trailing at the end of the mob! Unfortunately about 5 minutes into the race Karl fell into a big pile of mud. Seconds later he was back up and ready to win at the end of the race Oliver M came 51st!
